GAL means “wave” in Hebrew. For our Jewish founder, Mitchell Knepfer, the name connects personal heritage with creative inspiration. A wave is always moving, changing shape without losing what it is. That idea captures the spirit of GAL: the freedom to evolve, explore new directions, and stay connected to your roots. The Hebrew in our name, גל, makes that connection visible, bringing together where we come from and what we’re creating next.
